Record Dublab Website Flying Lotus MySpace Warp Films - Festival Successes Following This is England winning best film at the British Independent Film Awards, Warp Films have enjoyed further success on the festival circuit this year. Dog Altogether, written and directed by Paddy Considine, won the Silver Lion award for best short at the Venice Film Festival. Considine's first film, Dog Altogether is the story of a man plagued by a violence and rage that is driving him to self destruction, and his search for hope and redemption. Exhibit A, co-produced by Warp Films, has also won best film at Raindance Festival. Warp Films Website Battles With Tonto+ due next week (America - 6th Nov) the band are winding through Europe on a 9-date tour. Sold out shows shows have already taken place in London, Bristol, Belgium & Holland, and now the band are set to destroy venues in France, N. England & Scotland - dates in Warp Live below. Battles have been picked to perform the BBC Electric Proms, playing with The Editors at Koko on Oct 24th. Yes, The Editors. A strange pairing considering Battles will blow them off stage! The show will be broadcast on BBC2 in the UK, (full show on BBC Red Button) and will be played out on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show.
